HOORAY! I have upgraded to WordPress 2.2, and have welcomed the fresher version of my old theme, Hemingway! In other booring news, I have resumed work at Costco and after working a grand total of 4 days, have realized that it is going to be a very long summer. I wish I would have found a work-study in Iowa City. I am not coming back to Des Moines again.-In yet more news, I have discovered that Ubuntu (as well as most other popular distros’) seem to disagree with Intel Core 2 Duo chipsets. The OS is simply unstable on my new rig. It was by complete chance that I got it installed at all. This has been mentioned by others with similar hardware on forums everywhere, with no fix in sight. Oh how I wish linux would ‘just work’ as advertised. The woes of new technology. Thats all for now. It is late and I have work tomorrow. Oh, gee.
